Introduction

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the scope, approach, research, process, deliverables, timeline, payment schedule, and terms & conditions for the Shopify UI/UX Design Package by Geocommerce. This package includes the design of a Shopify website UI/UX using Figma, ensuring a seamless, high-converting, and visually appealing shopping experience.

Approach

Geocommerce follows a structured, research-driven approach to design Shopify stores that are user-friendly, conversion-optimized, and aligned with the brand’s identity. Our methodology ensures that the UI/UX design enhances customer engagement and improves overall store performance. The approach includes:

  • Brand Discovery & Goal Definition: Understanding the client’s business, target audience, and objectives.
  • User-Centered Design: Prioritizing usability, accessibility, and seamless navigation.
  • Data-Driven Design Choices: Implementing best UI/UX practices based on industry trends and competitors.
  • Collaboration & Iteration: Involving clients in feedback cycles to refine the design effectively.

Research & Industry Analysis

Before designing, Geocommerce conducts in-depth research to ensure the best possible UI/UX experience:

  • Competitor Analysis: Evaluating industry competitors and benchmarking successful design elements.
  • User Behavior Study: Analyzing how users interact with similar stores to optimize layouts and navigation.
  • E-commerce Best Practices: Applying proven design methodologies to improve conversions and engagement.

Process

The design process follows a structured workflow to ensure quality and alignment with client expectations:

Step 1: Research & Wireframing

  • Understanding the business, audience, and product categories.
  • Creating low-fidelity wireframes for website layout.
  • Identifying key user journeys and optimizing the navigation structure.

Step 2: UI Design & Prototyping

  • Designing high-fidelity UI mockups for up to X pages (Homepage, Collection Page, Product Page, Cart, Checkout, About, Contact, etc.).
  • Ensuring mobile-first, responsive design for all screen sizes.
  • Implementing a cohesive brand identity with typography, color schemes, and custom visual elements.

Step 3: Feedback & Iteration

  • Presenting the initial design concepts to the client.
  • Incorporating client feedback in two revision cycles.
  • Refining visual elements and interactions for an optimized experience.

Step 4: Handover & Documentation

  • Providing final Figma design files with component libraries and design guidelines.
  • Creating documentation for seamless development handover.
  • Conducting a final review with the client to ensure satisfaction.

Deliverables

  • Wireframes and design prototypes in Figma 
  • Final UI/UX design files including all assets, style guides, and component libraries.
  • Handover documentation for the development team with design annotations.
  • Core Page Designs - 5
    These are high-impact, custom-designed templates central to the user journey:
    • Homepage
    • Collection Page
    • Product Detail Page (PDP Template)
    • About Us Page
    • One additional key page (as required)

  • Supporting Page Designs - 5 
    These pages are functional in nature and follow streamlined layouts:
    • Contact Page
    • Thank You Page
    • Cart Drawer
    • Cart Page
    • One additional utility page (as required)

Additional Page Design (If Required)

  • Core Pages – ₹10,000 per page
    (e.g., Blog Listing, Blog Detail, Brand Story, Lookbook, etc.)
  • Supporting Pages – ₹5,000 per page
    (e.g., FAQ, Shipping & Returns, Policies, etc.)

Timeline

The estimated project timeline is 3-4 weeks, as follows:

  • Week 1: Research, wireframing & initial concepts.
  • Week 2: High-fidelity designs & first iteration.
  • Week 3: Client feedback & revisions.
  • Week 4: Final refinements & design handover.

Payment Schedule

The total project cost is ₹60,000 (inclusive of all charges), payable as 100% Upfront.

Terms & Conditions

  • The project scope is limited to design work; no development is included in this package.
  • Additional revisions beyond the agreed limit will be chargeable at an hourly rate.
  • All communication and feedback must be shared within the project timeline to avoid delays.
  • Geocommerce retains the right to showcase the design work in its portfolio unless a prior NDA is signed.
  • Payment is non-refundable once the project has commenced.
  • The client must provide all necessary branding materials, such as logos, fonts, and references, before project initiation.
