Geocommerce is a leading Shopify development, design, branding, and management agency. We specialize in building high-converting Shopify stores and providing end-to-end eCommerce solutions. We are looking for a Content Writer to create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for our Client websites, blogs, and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, concise, and impactful content for Shopify-based websites, product listings, brand pages, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and developers to align content with design elements, ensuring the website’s messaging is cohesive, brand-aligned, and conversion-focused.
  • Conduct in-depth research on clients' industries, products, competitors, and target audiences to deliver relevant and high-performing content.
  • Coordinate with project managers, SEO specialists, and branding teams to optimize website content for search engines and user engagement.
  • Write SEO-optimized blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and social media content based on marketing objectives and content calendars.
  • Review, edit, and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, tone, and consistency.
  • Participate in content strategy meetings, brainstorming sessions, and feedback reviews to refine content based on client objectives and business goals.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in website content writing, preferably for e-commerce or D2C brands.
  • Strong understanding of content alignment with UI/UX, responsive layouts, and visual design principles.
  • Excellent research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in collaboration with design and development teams.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword placement, and content structuring.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing content practices, CRO, and conversion-centric copywriting.
