Overview

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the scope, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities associated with Geocommerce's Branding & Creative Package. Designed for new-age Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands with a web-first approach, this package will help establish a cohesive and memorable brand identity, ensuring consistency across all digital and offline touchpoints.


Scope of Work

  1. Brand Identity Development

    • Logo Design:
      • Creation of primary and secondary logo variants.
      • Scalable and responsive designs for digital and print mediums.
      • Logo usage guidelines.
    • Typography:
      • Selection of primary and secondary fonts.
      • Hierarchical text styling for headlines, subheadings, and body text.
      • Font pairing recommendations and licensing details.
    • Color Palette:
      • Definition of primary, secondary, and accent colors.
      • HEX, RGB, and CMYK codes for consistent application.
      • Guidelines for color usage in different media.
  2. Visual Identity

    • Imagery Guidelines:
      • Selection of imagery styles (e.g., photography, illustrations).
      • Recommendations for image tones, filters, and overlays.
      • Stock image guidelines (if applicable).
    • Web Design Guide:
      • Wireframes and design principles tailored for Shopify.
      • User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design elements.
      • Mobile-first design best practices.
  3. Brand Voice & Tone

    • Definition of the brand’s personality.
    • Guidelines for tone variation across platforms (formal, conversational, playful, etc.).
    • Sample copy for key brand messaging (e.g., taglines, product descriptions, about us).
  4. Social Media Guidelines

    • Platform-specific design and content recommendations (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Content themes and posting strategies.
    • Hashtag usage and community engagement guidelines.
  5. Creative Guidelines

    • Layout and composition principles for banners, ads, and collateral.
    • Recommendations for digital and print designs.
    • Best practices for designing Shopify banners and product imagery.
  6. Resources and Documentation

    • Editable files for logos, fonts, and templates.
    • A comprehensive brand guidelines document (PDF format).
    • Access to design resources and links to recommended tools.

Timeline

The project will be completed in  4 weeks, with milestones as follows:

  • Week 1: Initial consultation and research.
  • Week 2: Drafting brand identity elements (logo, typography, colors).
  • Week 3: Development of visual and creative guidelines.
  • Week 4: Completion of social media guidelines and resource compilation.
  • Week 5: Final review and Handover.

 

Responsibilities

  • Client Responsibilities:

    • Provide detailed information about the brand, target audience, and goals.
    • Timely feedback and approval of drafts.
    • Supply any existing brand materials or references (if applicable).
  • Geocommerce Responsibilities:

    • Deliver high-quality and timely outputs as per the agreed-upon scope.
    • Ensure all designs and guidelines align with the brand’s vision and objectives.
    • Provide support and clarifications during and after project completion (up to 2 Weeks.

Terms & Conditions

  • GST 18% Extra ( Applicable for India only )
  • Up to 2 revisions are included per deliverable.
  • Additional Work: Work outside the agreed scope will be billed at an additional rate.
  • Ownership: Final deliverables will be the client’s property upon full payment.
  • Payment Terms: 50% upfront 50% upon completion.
